The Gold Standard: DIVA-5 CYP Assessment

We utilise the DIVA-5 (Diagnostic Interview for ADHD), specifically adapted for Children and Young People. This is a deep-dive clinical interview conducted with parents or caregivers to explore the child’s behaviours, focus, and emotional regulation across home, social, and educational environments.

We explore:

Attention & Executive Function: How your child processes instructions and manages tasks.

Hyperactivity & Impulsivity: Understanding the internal and external "restlessness" often seen in school settings.

Emotional Regulation: The link between ADHD and "meltdowns" or emotional overwhelm.

The "Whole Child" View: Identifying how their unique brain impacts their self-esteem and friendships.

 Educational Advocacy

The most vital part of this service is the Formulated Nursing Advocacy Report. This clinical document is designed to be a powerful tool for parents.

This report can be used to:

Provide SENDCOs and Schools with professional evidence to request immediate "Reasonable Adjustments."

Support EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) applications.

Give your GP the clinical data needed to fast-track a formal referral for titration or diagnosis.

Help you, as a parent, understand exactly how to support your child's brain at home.
